The Market Will Go On!

As crazy as the weather has seemed lately the folks forecasting the weather say warmer days are ahead!

Despite the weather forecast for tomorrow at least I will be at  Hillcrest Farmers Market and here are the heirloom plants that I will be bringing:

Eggplants: Little Finger and Black Beauty.

Tomatoes: Amish Paste, Arkansas Travelers, Beefsteak, Cherokee Purple, and Green Zebra.

Peppers: Emerald Giant Bell Pepper, Mini Bell Pepper, Cayenne, Corno di Toro Giallo (Sweet and Spicy Italian heirloom), Jalapeno, and Red Marconi.

Zucchini starts.

Herbs: Basil varieties that include Cinnamon, Dark Purple Opal, Thai, Lime, and Sweet Genovese. Also, I will have Common Thyme, Common Oregano, and Zataar Oregano (a variety found in Israel).

Produce: Fresh Parsley.

And handmade garden containers.

Also, don't forget that Saturday is the summer kickoff for the market and the hours will be from 7 am until 2 pm.
